Party Organizer-Hosting Gold Parties a Dream Home Based Business Frequently
Asked Questions
I want to host a gold
party. What do I need to do? If you’re ready to host a party, you need to
sign up. It’s free. Click here. Once you sign up, we will contact a
Gold Party Coordinator in your area to contact you about having a gold party. From there you will ask them questions until you are comfortable in setting a
date for your gold party.
It’s time to start inviting
people. Invite everyone you know to bring their unwanted gold jewelry that they would like to sell to your gold
party. They go home with cash! Invite friends, family, co-workers, and
neighbors, anyone you think will enjoy a fun evening making money. Don’t forget to tell your friends to invite
their mothers or friends as well. The bigger the party, the better the payout.
Does my gold party have
to be an evening event held at my home? Absolutely not. Gold Party Coordinators are
flexible and are happy to work around your schedule. It can be held at your home or business, any time morning,
afternoon or evening.
How many people should
I have at my party? The more the merrier; the more gold the
Coordinator buys, the more money you will make. A successful party is based on the amount of gold your guests
bring. Please keep in mind that 30% of the people invited actually show up to the event so it’s important to follow
up and then follow up again with the people you have invited. People will forget if you don’t remind them. A good
goal to work towards is 15 people to show up with unwanted gold jewelry to sell.
How much can I make by
hosting a gold party? Coordinators pay the host 10% commission from
the total party payout. Average party payouts are $3,000-$5000 and more; which means $300-$500 for you, just for
having a party. We cannot stress enough that the more people you invite, the more money you will
make.
When someone from my
party decides to host a Gold Party; do I get commission for that party too? We always encourage guests to host their own
parties. If anyone from your party books a party with your Coordinator, they will pay you an additional 3%
commission on your guest’s total party payout. Average party payouts are $3,000-$5000 so that means an extra
$90-$150 for you for each party booked from your party.
What type of gold or
platinum items will the Coordinator buy? They buy it all, but each Coordinator will
tell you specifically what they buy, when they set up your party. Bring everything you have; chains, necklaces,
bracelets, broken or not, single earrings or pairs, engagement/wedding rings, gold coins, nuggets, dental gold and
much more. If you’re not sure whether something is gold or not; bring it anyway, your coordinator will have all the
equipment required to test it.
Am I responsible for
evaluating the gold or is the Coordinator? You are not responsible for evaluating the
gold! All you are responsible for is making sure your guests show up and furnishing some refreshments. Once the
party begins…sit back and enjoy! Your Gold Party Coordinator will handle the rest of the time.
What if a piece of
jewelry has gems in it? Guests should remove the stones before coming
to the party if they want to keep the stones. Coordinators will tell
you how they handle gems, but most will do their best to remove the stones for you. If the piece has many little stones, in most cases it is not worth the time to
pull them all out. Always remember, we are dealing in scrap gold.
Do my guests and myself
have to sell our jewelry? There is absolutely no obligation to sell
anything. If you’re not 100% satisfied with the quote given or if there is a piece that has sentimental value and
you decide to change your mind….no problem at all. We completely understand.
